Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a Home Care Therapist. As a member of our team, you will work independently with pediatric and adult clients in school and home settings on a face-to-face basis. You will have full control over your schedule, making it ideal for those who value flexibility.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assessments in home settings based on presenting impairments or diagnoses using standardized assessment tools.
  • Working with clients who have various concerns, such as trouble speaking, breathing, or swallowing due to conditions like stroke, neurological problems, or congenital conditions.
  • Designing care plans using evidence-based information, relevant best practices, and clinical expertise.
  • Partnering with clients' family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to discuss care goals and service plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology from a recognized post-secondary program.
  • Active registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with strong organizational abilities.
  • Experience providing home-based services is an asset, but new graduates are welcome.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
