Job Title: Parts Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Logistics Coordinator to join our team at NCP Auto Parts Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, including developing plans to prioritize tasks, organizing tasks to accomplish work, and coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and organize work to meet deadlines
  • Oversee operational logistics, including inventory control, shipping, and receiving
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff as needed
  • Conduct performance reviews and coordinate work assignments
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking and reporting
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre environment with a team of 3-4 people, including purchasing and inventory clerks, storekeepers, and parts clerks.

Computer and Technology Knowledge:
  • Inventory control software
  • MS Excel
  • MS Word
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

The successful candidate will assist with the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.

Supports for Visible Minorities:

The successful candidate will apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, including anonymizing the hiring process.
