Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance for corporate entities and proprietary real estate, music royalty, and self-storage funds.
  • Manage annual Canadian and US tax filing requirements and corporate structure tax planning.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize liabilities.
  • Provide strategic tax advice on acquisitions, dispositions, and other business transactions.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impact on the corporation.
  • Manage the preparation, submission, and review of all required tax filings.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and CPA designation.
