Senior Director, US Participant Outcomes Strategy

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive our commitment to enhancing participant relationships and improving retirement readiness in the US market. As the Senior Director, US Participant Outcomes Strategy, you will lead a team of retirement participant education experts and communication consultants to establish John Hancock Retirement as a leader in empowering individuals to save and invest for a secure retirement.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and implement the business' strategic vision, plan, operating model, and success criteria for driving measurable participant outcomes.
- Participate in the execution of US participant engagement, outcomes, rollover, and experience.
- Partner with Global Retirement, PI, and others in broader Manulife organizations to advance programs, processes, and campaigns related to US plan participants.
- Attract, develop, promote, and retain top, diverse talent in US Retirement and the Manulife organization.
- Provide leadership to retirement professionals in the Participant Outcomes function.
- Optimize resources, budget, and innovations to drive continuous improvement and efficacy.
- Develop and maintain an external presence as an inspiring leader by attending, presenting, and delivering thought leadership insights related to retirement plan participants.
How You Will Create Impact
You will create impact by delivering on our purpose of helping people save and invest so they can confidently achieve their retirement goals. By partnering with Financial Advisors, TPAs, and Plan Sponsors, you will help close the almost $4T retirement savings gap in the US and better the lives of the ~3.5M participants we serve in their later years.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need 10 years+ experience in the Retirement and Wealth Management industry, driving participant actions and outcomes. You will also need 10 years+ experience in people leadership, with a demonstrated ability to attract, develop, promote, and retain top, diverse talent.
