Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

As Acquisition Strategy Director at RBC Direct Investing Inc., you will be responsible for developing and executing acquisition strategies to drive growth and optimize costs. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead cross-functional teams to deliver insights and proposals to achieve Direct Investing's acquisition goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of client acquisition and retention results
  • Accountable for annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting process for net-acquisition activities
  • Optimizing client acquisition cost results across channels, segments, and offers
  • Lead others through the delivery of initiatives and strategies to grow client acquisition or reduce attrition
  • Deep dive analytics on key strategic questions relating to client net-acquisition, including opportunity analysis and sizing

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in roles of increasing responsibility in client acquisition, client retention, or similar roles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience in driving P&L outcomes and managing against acquisition and/or retention targets
  • Proven ability to break down complex strategic problems into individual parts
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and decision makers
