About the Role: We are seeking a talented Guest Service Agent to join our team at Hotel Victoria. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and helpful service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process, handling guest registration, room assignments, and special requests.
  • Manage front desk operations, including handling phone calls, operating a cash register, and processing guest transactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Leader.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, with a focus on customer service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Physical ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
