Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Manpower Canada. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of manufacturing bills of materials, supporting the engineering change process, and enhancing overall plant productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of manufacturing bills of materials for all products.
  • Participate in the engineering change process, including designing and updating PFMEAs as necessary.
  • Review and update operator instructions, ensure assembly equipment readiness, and address packaging requirements and other manufacturing engineering tasks.
  • Maintain a daily presence on the production floor, providing engineering support in areas such as ergonomic evaluations, methods improvement, equipment procurement and fabrication, and safety.
  • Research, investigate, and report on manufacturing concerns to enhance plant productivity, reduce process costs, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtimes and rejects.
Requirements
  • Completion of a college diploma or university degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field or discipline.
  • Previous experience with welding and programming is required.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems.
