We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Company 1 - The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end data pipelines using advanced data engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of data integration solutions, including API integrations and data feeds, to ensure scalability and effectiveness.
  • Use expertise in big data and cloud computing to design and develop data pipelines that meet the needs of our business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes and mentor junior team members.
  • Design and develop scripts for ETL processes and automation in Azure data factory, Azure Databricks, and PySpark using Python, Spark, and T-SQL.
  • Develop and maintain data models and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data solutions that meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our data solutions are innovative and effective.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud computing and big data.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Databricks, ADF, ADLS, Synapse, and other cloud-based data engineering tools.
  • Hands-on experience with designing and developing data pipelines, ETL processes, and automation scripts.
  • Good understanding of data modeling and data quality principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data engineering issues.
