We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the Federation of BC Youth in Care Networks. This permanent position offers 14 hours of work per week, providing an excellent opportunity for those looking to balance their career with personal responsibilities.
About the JobThe Administrative Coordinator will play a vital role in coordinating the flow of information within the team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating meetings and appointments, scheduling, and confirming bookings;
- Managing daily operations, including opening and distributing mail, and maintaining inventory;
- Providing exceptional customer service through telephone and electronic inquiries;
- Maintaining manual and computerized filing systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency;
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- 1-2 years of experience in administration or a related field;
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required;
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word;
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision;
This role offers a competitive salary of $25-$30 per hour, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
