Packing Supervisor

About the Role
The Packing Supervisor is a key member of the ALMAG team, responsible for overseeing the packing operations and ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the packing team to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
- Develop and implement efficient packing processes and procedures to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments, including shipping and receiving, to ensure smooth operations and meet customer demands.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track production and quality metrics.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of leadership and team management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
