About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at High Rollers. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate food and supply costs, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes, staying up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, inventory, and labor, providing valuable insights for management
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and banquets, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experience
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Stay up-to-date with food safety and sanitation protocols, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
