We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at CB Canada. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tools to extract data from OpenText Content Server and store it in a big data platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated tools to fetch claims documents and extract text using tesseract
  • Develop and deploy big data pipelines to store extracted data
  • Test and debug tools to ensure high-quality results
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of tools

Requirements:

  • Experience with Python or Scala programming languages
  • Strong understanding of big data platforms and data pipelines
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Working Arrangements:

Fully remote work arrangement with PST hours
