The Role

As a Senior Financial Experience Designer, you'll work with product managers, researchers, engineers, and designers to create impactful experiences across digital platforms. Your efforts will shape project outcomes, exercising skills in concepting, prototyping, service design, information design, and research.

You'll also help guide, mentor, and expand the design team and practice, driving results independently while thriving in collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the definition, creation, and delivery of complex challenges spanning our whole product suite.
  • Participate in discovery and planning of new products and features, driving design vision across our product suite.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive design vision and strategy that meets user needs, helping other disciplines understand design value.
  • Illustrate and communicate complex design solutions through process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Transform research and requirements into deliverables showcasing intuitive user experiences.
  • Foster a strong design practice, continually elevating quality of experiences through expertise and mentorship.
  • Provide expertise to the Director and Product Managers for org-level decision-making.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in product design or user experience design roles.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design processes, including developing personas, flows, journey mapping, content modeling, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a strong portfolio demonstrating industry-leading UX and UI work.
  • Able to balance great design solutions with iterative approaches.
  • Experience designing complex workflows with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Fluency in principles and techniques of information architecture, systems thinking, and user experience design.
