About the Role

TEEMA is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Strategist to lead our financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping our financial future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Oversee the preparation, review, and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to executive leadership.
  • Tax Strategy & Compliance: Develop and manage tax strategies, ensuring compliance with all regulations while optimizing tax efficiency.
  • Operational & Financial Oversight: Direct the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Audit & Compliance Management: Oversee internal and external audit processes, ensuring strong internal controls, compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards, and continuous improvements in financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders to support key business initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • CPA Designation: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Technical Expertise: Financial reporting standards, GAAP/IFRS, and best practices in financial governance.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
