Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Management Professional to join our team at BVD Truck Sales Inc. as a Co-ordinator of Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, with a College or CEGEP degree, and relevant work experience of 7 months to less than 1 year. You will be responsible for training workers in duties and policies, preparing and submitting reports, and coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Responsibilities
  • Train workers in duties and policies: Provide guidance and support to new staff members to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Prepare and submit reports: Compile and analyze data to create informative reports that highlight key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure smooth operation of equipment: Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality: Identify issues and develop solutions to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work: Plan and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies: Source and procure necessary resources to support operations.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work: Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments: Foster collaboration and communication to achieve shared goals.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures: Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimize productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP degree
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Skills: Training, report preparation, equipment maintenance, problem-solving, work coordination, procurement, maintenance scheduling, workflow optimization
