Business Development Representative for Commercial Construction

ClickJobz is seeking a seasoned Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our commercial construction business development team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the commercial construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our portfolio in commercial and residential markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, opportunities, and competitors in the Ottawa construction market.
  • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our company's strengths and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development goals with project objectives.
  • Oversee ongoing projects to ensure they meet client expectations, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent our company and grow our network within the Ottawa construction community.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development within the commercial construction sector.
  • Proven experience in residential project development is a strong asset.
  • Strong understanding of the Ottawa construction market and a track record of developing business in the region.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a client-centric approach to managing relationships.
  • Experience preparing and presenting proposals, bids, and reports to clients.
  • Familiarity with construction project management and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales tracking software.
