Commercial Construction Focus
ClickJobz is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join their team and contribute to the growth of their commercial construction business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial construction sector, including office buildings, retail, and industrial projects, with a focus on residential project development.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the company's portfolio in commercial and residential markets.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, opportunities, and competitors in the Ottawa construction market, informing business development efforts.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, bids, and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the company's strengths and capabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align business development goals with project execution.
- Account Management: Oversee ongoing projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and resolving issues as they arise.
- Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to grow the network within the Ottawa construction community.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in business development within the commercial construction sector.
- Proven experience in residential project development is an asset.
- Strong understanding of the Ottawa construction market and a track record of developing business in the region.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a client-centric approach.
- Experience preparing and presenting proposals, bids, and reports.
