As a Field Claims Representative at Intact Prestige, you will be responsible for investigating complex high-net-worth personal lines property claims in a timely and respectful manner. This involves communicating with customers, contractors, consultants, and other relevant parties to gather information and assess damage.
You will handle field tasks or attend on-site visits to assist customers, provide superior customer service, and answer queries related to the claims process. Your role will also involve documenting claim files by meeting with all involved parties and obtaining necessary reports and statements.
In this position, you will analyze the information gathered, interpret insurance policy wording, determine coverage, and assess damage. You will negotiate with customers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers to settle claims within established authority limits. Additionally, you will maintain current knowledge of insurance products and appraisal or investigation techniques.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-net-worth customers and build strong relationships with broker partners. You will use problem-solving skills to implement unique solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
