About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Ambassador to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that our guests feel welcome and valued throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently offer a professional and friendly greeting to guests, providing proactive and engaging service to ensure a positive experience.
  • Assist guests with menu items in an informative, engaging, and helpful manner, ensuring that they have a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  • Support colleagues during service to ensure a consistent guest experience throughout the restaurant, including running food, refreshing beverages, cleaning, and resetting tables.
  • Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items, and preparation methods to provide expert recommendations and guidance to guests.
  • Handle guest concerns swiftly and graciously, offering a remarkable recovery and a commitment to always improve.
  • Be aware of guests' dietary restrictions and allergies, ensuring proper communication between team members to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Be knowledgeable of current promotions and loyalty program offerings to provide guests with personalized recommendations and incentives.
  • Follow all outlet policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.

Requirements:

  • Service-focused personality is essential, with previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a luxury hotel environment is an asset.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage guest interactions and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities at once, working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team, with impeccable grooming and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, cocktails, and specialty coffees is an asset.
  • Valid Serving It Right Certification is required.
  • Ability to work a fluctuating schedule, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and rotating shifts.
  • Ability to speak and understand English with professional working proficiency.
  • Successful applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada; AccorHotel is unable to assist applicants in obtaining Canadian work authorization.

Physical Aspects of the Position:

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30lbs.
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
