Café Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Café Manager to join our team at Prado Cafe Ltd.

Job Summary

The Café Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our café, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes managing staff, monitoring revenues, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and make adjustments as needed
  • Supervise staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives
  • Recruit and train new staff members
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate coverage
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the café
  • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve business objectives
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to meet business objectives
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and instruct individuals
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and point of sale systems
