Communications Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Manager to join our team at Info-Tech Research Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a world-class PR & Communications team, driving outstanding results for our business and its HR division, McLean & Company.
Job Summary:The Communications Manager will be responsible for managing and executing corporate announcements, media relations, thought leadership, and reputation management initiatives. This role will support the C-suite and leadership team with communications initiatives and contribute to the promotion of our corporate and research activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage media relations and corporate communications for McLean & Company and Info-Tech Research Group.
- Develop and execute media briefings for major research projects.
- Guide and execute thought leadership and contributed content.
- Manage press release planning, development, and distribution.
- Support industry conferences, events, and speaking opportunities.
- Maintain the McLean & Company newsroom and other relevant public-facing webpages.
- Develop and maintain key PR assets.
- Monitor performance and provide regular analysis and reporting.
- Research and identify top award opportunities.
- Complete award applications and execute associated winner announcements.
- Diploma or degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate communications and/or public relations.
- Proven track record in confidently and successfully managing media relations and corporate communications.
- Experience in crisis communications and reputation management.
- Media relations experience, including media outreach and relationship management.
- Superior writing, reporting, and presenting skills.
- Expertise in crisis management and corporate communication.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently as a self-starter and as part of a team.
- Proactive and able to identify and capitalize on positive exposure opportunities.
- Familiarity with press release wires and PR platforms, such as Cision and PRNewswire.
- Ability to interact confidently and professionally with senior leaders and support executive leadership.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects on varying timelines.
