Key Responsibilities

As a Data Quality Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing test strategies to ensure high-quality data
  • Creating test plans and executing tests to validate data integrity
  • Leading and managing a team of data quality engineers to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Communicating with customers and stakeholders to understand their data quality requirements
  • Reporting status and managing defects to ensure timely resolution
  • Testing ETL processes and Big Data environments
  • Working with GCP and GCP functionalities such as running DAGs and troubleshooting
  • Developing Python programming skills to integrate multiple data sources and databases
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
  • Working in a true Agile/Scrum XP environment with proven skill and effectiveness in Agile SDLC methodologies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong functional testing experience, including testing in ETL, database, and Big Data environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with business and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Proven experience in test strategy creation, test plan creation, and defect management
  • Experience with GCP and GCP functionalities such as running DAGs and troubleshooting
  • Python programming skills to integrate multiple data sources and databases
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
  • Experience working in a true Agile/Scrum XP environment
