Responsibilities for Data Engineer - Analytics Expert

As a Data Engineer - Analytics Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with internal clients to understand their data needs and developing tailored solutions using data from various sources.
  • Designing and implementing data pipelines, data warehouses, and data visualization tools to support business decision-making.
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity by identifying and resolving data issues before building analysis models.
  • Working in an agile product development environment, including stand-up meetings, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.

Requirements for Data Engineer - Analytics Expert

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with GCP data analytics stacks (Big Query, DataFlow, CloudSQL, DBT, CloudRun, Cloud Schedule, etc.).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI, etc.).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills Required for Data Engineer - Analytics Expert

You will need to possess:

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in analyzing data via SQL (MS SQL Server or equivalent alternatives).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to interrogate data for quality assurance before building advanced data models.
  • Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, R, C#.
