As a Data Engineer - Analytics Expert, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with internal clients to understand their data needs and developing tailored solutions using data from various sources.
- Designing and implementing data pipelines, data warehouses, and data visualization tools to support business decision-making.
- Ensuring data quality and integrity by identifying and resolving data issues before building analysis models.
- Working in an agile product development environment, including stand-up meetings, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Requirements for Data Engineer - Analytics Expert
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience with GCP data analytics stacks (Big Query, DataFlow, CloudSQL, DBT, CloudRun, Cloud Schedule, etc.).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI, etc.).
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Skills Required for Data Engineer - Analytics Expert
You will need to possess:
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in analyzing data via SQL (MS SQL Server or equivalent alternatives).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to interrogate data for quality assurance before building advanced data models.
- Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, R, C#.
