Warehouse Operations Manager

At SHERRY CARRIER INC., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on warehouse operations and inventory levels.
- Ensure the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to improve productivity and product quality.
- Coordinate and assign work tasks, and review progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and direct a team of staff members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handle heavy loads.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and record-keeping.
- Flexibility and initiative to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Reliability and team player attitude to work collaboratively with others.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Work under pressure to meet productivity and quality standards.
- Handling heavy loads and working in a warehouse environment.
- English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
