Job Title: Transition Planner

At Raymond James Financial, we are seeking a skilled Transition Planner to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless transition process for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the National Sales team in transitioning clients to Raymond James Financial;
  • Customize transition requirements to meet the unique needs of each client;
  • Maintain open communication with transitioning clients and their support staff;
  • Provide education and support on our policies and procedures, including operations, compliance, marketing, technology, investment products, and general business issues;
  • Offer remote or onsite support as needed to ensure a successful transition;
  • Manage weekly transition calls/meetings with clients and their teams;
  • Participate in internal projects to drive business growth and improvement;
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Fundamental knowledge of investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a willingness to learn new applications;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively;
  • Ability to work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail;
  • Demonstrate strong email, videoconferencing, and telephone etiquette and relationship management skills;
  • Exercise tact and discretion in handling confidential information;
  • Communicate proficiently in French is an asset;
  • Previous experience with Dataphile is an asset.
Education and Experience:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree;
  • 3 or more years' experience in the Investment Brokerage or Financial Services Industry.
Travel:
  • Willingness to travel within Canada up to 40% of the time.
