We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at STARLINE WINDOWS LTD.

About the Role

This is a permanent position requiring 35 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $60,000 per year, taking into account the national average salary for similar positions and the cost of living in the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person, resolving issues related to computer systems, networks, and software.
  • To set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • To perform Web-server backup and recovery operations, as well as manage incidents and maintain a problems and solutions log.
  • To collaborate with other technical teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking hardware, security software, and MS Windows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
