**Job Summary**

EllisDon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, Facilities Operations, you will play a critical role in the success of our P3 projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Act as a liaison between the Construction phase and Operations phase of a P3 project, ensuring a smooth transition and timely completion of tasks.
  • Prepare and manage contractually required document schedules, deadlines, and collaborative meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to review Scope of Work and Standard Operating Procedure documentation for various projects and site-specific assets.
  • Review shop drawings and sub-contractor submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Plan, develop, organize, write, and edit operational procedures, manuals, and templates to support project success.
  • Maintain document revision history to ensure adherence to audit requirements.
  • Develop high-level relationships and build trust with key stakeholders in P3 projects.
  • Project manage P3 projects, creating collaborative meeting schedules and leading discussions with key stakeholders to ensure priority topics are discussed.
  • Review bid documentation (Output Specifications, Mechanical and Electrical drawings) to prepare and support P3 projects.
  • Conduct task analysis to review legislative requirements.
  • Attend confidential meetings to take minutes and manage action items.
  • Aide in maintaining a comprehensive library of Renovation Works-related documentation: drawings, O&M manuals, warranty information.
  • Prepare and review impact notices and distribute to clients and internal EDFS staff within prescribed timelines – specific to Renovation Works.
  • Represent EDFS in Renovation Works meetings, presentations, and client demos.
  • Liaise with Manager, Plant & Maintenance Operations to solicit input and/or coordinate EDFS resources related to required shut downs for Renovation Works.
  • Oversight and management of GT Latent Defects, including subcontractor coordination.
  • Prepare and deliver Interface Agreement Notices as required, including Latent Defects in the GT.

**Requirements**

  • A knowledge of P3 projects and building assets is essential.
  • An Engineering degree or diploma, or 1-3 years of administrative or construction experience.
  • Experience with document management software and best practices, e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, Google Drive, Microsoft Office.
  • A working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications, and building materials.
  • The ability to develop organization systems to support project success.
  • Awareness of legislative requirements/standards, e.g., healthcare specific, environmental, asset-specific (e.g., generator, chillers, cooling towers).
  • The ability to simplify complex information.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and project objectives.
  • The ability to identify audience and write accordingly.
