About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse with current Medical nursing experience to work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Grace Hospital. You will be responsible for providing professional registered nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs, including independent nursing services and administration of prescribed medical treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to patients with complex health needs, including those requiring specialized treatment and support
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that take into account each patient's unique needs and goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and discharge
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nursing practice and patient care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A graduate degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a leadership or educator role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
