Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency 2 department at Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Degree in Nursing from an approved institution required
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Manitoba required
  • Recent experience in emergency nursing preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Bilingualism (English/French) required
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working variable hours within the shift rotation framework. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
