Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Freight Delivery Professional to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering packages and messages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
- Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
- Provide professional customer service and receive information from central dispatch
- Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered
- Transport and handle dangerous goods safely
- Load and unload goods efficiently
- Record trip information, including vehicle mileage and fuel costs
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle maintenance
