Job Description

You will work as a Senior Business Analyst in the Enterprise Systems under the Technology and Data department, responsible for building, configuring, and evolving end-to-end technology solutions that enable Finance and Accounting business groups. Projects are delivered in close collaboration with project team members and business partners using waterfall or agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document results with subject matter experts.
  • Build as-is and to-be process design flows, identifying efficiencies and leveraging digital resources.
  • Liaise with Engineers and business subject matter experts to brainstorm and document innovative solutions alternatives.
  • Participate in process design meetings and translate outcomes into process documentation.
  • Understand data and data flow to assist in preparing roadmaps related to migration/transformation programs.

Role-Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and project management for multiple initiatives.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document results with subject matter experts.
  • Liaise with Engineers and business subject matter experts to brainstorm and document innovative solutions alternatives.
  • Participate in process design by researching industry best practices and translating outcomes into process documentation.
  • Work with technical and business individuals to resolve production issues.
  • Apply analytical and technical skills to investigate day-to-day system and business issues.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years' experience in a related role, preferably within the investment industry.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with Technology and Data colleagues, business partners, and external vendors.
  • Experience in leading complex group meetings during requirements elicitation and design sessions.
  • Proven ability in capturing business and data integration requirements and preparing technical specifications for the Engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle suite (Oracle EPM, Oracle Financials).
  • Experience with Agile Scrum/Kanban processes and work management tools: JIRA, Confluence.
  • Advance knowledge of MS Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in SQL and knowledge of relational database concepts.
