About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our Operations Team at Vention. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for manufacturing electromechanical and electronic components, as well as conducting quality assurance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Component Assembly and Testing: Perform the assembly, software installation, and testing of Vention automation components, including MachineMotion Controller, Module, Sensors, and Motors.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish parts in the production line and coordinate missing parts with procurement.
  • Harness and Cable Assembly: Build harnesses and cable assemblies following schematics as per IPC/WHMA-A-620.
  • Printed Circuit Board Assembly: Perform assembly and reworks of printed circuit boards as per IPC/WHMA-A-610.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of automation components and documentation by improving cost, performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Manufacturing Area Maintenance: Ensure that the manufacturing area is well organized and effective. Provide ideas and suggestions to increase efficiency and improve practices.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure fulfillment success.
Qualifications
  • Education: Electronic Technician Diploma or Certificate of vocational studies in electronics.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year's experience in electrical assembly and wiring sub-systems in a production environment.
  • Skills: Ability to interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and production documents. Experience of soldering methods for wiring and printed circuit boards.
  • Assets: Knowledge of Harness assembly as per IPC/WHMA-A-620 and electronics circuit board assembly as per IPC/WHMA-A-610. Experience in Quality Assurance.
