Senior Building Automation Technician

Job Summary:

Ainsworth is seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Automation Technician to support the growth of its Montreal office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the programming and service/maintenance of building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement building automation systems, including PLC networks and peripherals.
  • Program digital controllers and develop operation sequences.
  • Integrate building systems and ensure seamless communication protocols.
  • Commission, verify, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on automated building systems and their components.
  • Work in critical environments and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

Requirements:

  • DEC in Building Mechanics, Electronics, or Instrumentation and Control Technician.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in building automation.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work out of town occasionally.
