Senior Building Automation Technician

Job Summary:

Ainsworth is seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Automation Technician to support the growth of its Montreal office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the programming, service, and maintenance of building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement building automation systems, including PLC networks and peripherals
  • Program digital controllers and develop operation sequences
  • Integrate building systems and ensure seamless communication protocols
  • Commission, verify, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on automated building systems and components
  • Work in critical environments and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor

Requirements:

  • DEC in Building Mechanics, Electronics, or Instrumentation and Control Technician
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in building automation
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work out of town on occasion
