Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Northcan Construction Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing daily operations, recruiting and supervising staff, hiring and supervising subcontractors, and preparing construction schedules and milestones. They will also be responsible for reading blueprints, schemas, and drawings, and directing the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Read blueprint, schemas, and drawings
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
  • Prepare reports
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer and technology knowledge, including MS Office and MS Word
  • Bondable and basic security clearance
  • Own vehicle and willingness to travel
  • Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
