As a seasoned professional with expertise in commercial building construction, you will bring exceptional leadership skills and the ability to handle diverse tasks within tight deadlines.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cost estimation, quantity surveying, and facility condition assessments. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with contractors and other stakeholders.

  • Conduct thorough site analyses and prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial building projects
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure project alignment and cost accuracy
  • Utilize industry-leading software such as Bluebeam and PlanSwift for estimating and take-off tasks
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A degree or diploma in civil engineering
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the Canadian construction industry
  • Proven experience working with contractors and on civil, environmental, and electrical projects
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam and PlanSwift software
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
