Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Homewood Health. As a Therapist, Mental Health and Trauma, you will play a critical role in delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and evaluations to inform treatment planning
- Develop and implement collaborative treatment plans in conjunction with the clinical team
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, including evidence-based therapy and psycho-educational groups
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinical and program stakeholders
- Deliver EFAP services, including confidential counselling and case management
- Ensure continuity of care through effective communication and transfer of information
- Supervise students, interns, and non-regulated support personnel as needed
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling, or Psychology
- Registration with applicable regulatory College
- Experience in facilitating evidence-based therapy groups and individual psychotherapy
- Knowledge of standardized and non-standardized assessments
- Experience in treating trauma, stressor-related disorders, and concurrent psychiatric and substance use disorders
- Knowledge of relevant mental health acts and community resources
- Assessment and facilitation skills for group therapy
- Formal training in CBT, DBT, CPT, Mindfulness, Trauma-informed Yoga, Psychotherapy, and Counseling
- Knowledge of medical and psychiatric conditions, evaluation techniques, and psychometrics properties
- Comprehension of psychiatric emergencies and crisis management skills
- Service-specific training in psychosocial rehabilitation, childhood trauma, and sexual abuse
- Knowledge of concurrent addiction disorders
- Strong organizational, time management, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exceptional communication skills
