The Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation is seeking a skilled Registered Ultrasound Technologist to join its Diagnostic Services team. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team, you will coordinate and perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric procedures.

About the Role:

This temporary full-time position is located at McMaster Children's Hospital and offers a challenging and rewarding work environment. You will work closely with senior technologists and radiologists to ensure the technical quality of procedures is performed at a high level.

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Graduate of an accredited training program in Ultrasonography">
  • Current membership in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)">
  • Professional designation of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)">
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration">
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment">
  • Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills">
  • Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment">
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing education and professional development">
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is preferred">
  • IPS certificate is preferred">
  • Current registration with Sonography Canada is preferred">
