Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Diagnostic Services team at Hamilton Health Sciences as a Registered Ultrasound Technologist. As a member of our multi-disciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric scans.

About the Role

As a Registered Ultrasound Technologist, you will work closely with senior technologists and radiologists to ensure the technical quality of procedures is performed at a high level. You will also have opportunities for professional development through continuing medical education and training programs provided by McMaster Children's Hospital Pediatric and Obstetrical physicians.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited training program in Ultrasonography
  • Current membership in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Professional designation of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
  • Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
