About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager to join our team at Chettinad Dosa Palace. As an integral part of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods for customers
  • Collaborate with dietitians and chefs to prepare special meals for patients as instructed
  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff and helpers to maintain high productivity and efficiency
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize resource utilization
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and work areas
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Flexibility, initiative, and strong organizational skills

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is estimated at $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
