About the Role

The Executive Chef will be responsible for managing a team of cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards. This includes planning and coordinating menu development, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Develop and implement menus, taking into account nutritional value, taste, and presentation
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and services

Requirements:

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field (secondary school graduation certificate required)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow
