We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer from a mechanical perspective in Automotive General Assembly.

The main function of a manufacturing process engineer is to direct the development and/or improvements of manufacturing processes and equipment.

This role requires comprehensive expertise in manufacturing and assembly processes, as well as plant layout design.

Fundamental understanding of tooling processes is also required.

A basic familiarity with automotive industry operations and proficient knowledge of project management principles are necessary.

This position involves proposing and evaluating manufacturing process and equipment for assigned areas, meeting plant goals and standards in safety, quality, delivery, and cost, and coordinating the effective use of resources in supporting SPQRC initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a process engineer or manufacturing engineer within the manufacturing sector and hold a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related discipline.

The salary for this position is approximately $80,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience.

We offer a competitive benefits package, including group insurance, employer RRSP match, and 15 days annual vacation.
