We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Health Sciences Association of BC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to our team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases, including membership information and event details.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and arranging logistics.
  • Develop and implement administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a union or association setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
