We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Sales Manager to lead our Hardgoods department at Sport Chek. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales plans to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
- Lead and manage a team of sales associates to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales initiatives and promotions.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and vendors.
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of sales growth and customer service excellence.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Business acumen and analytical skills.
