About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Head - Hardgoods to join our team at Sport Chek. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Coach and develop sales associates to improve their sales skills and knowledge.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
