Elevator Support Professional

We are seeking a skilled Elevator Support Professional to join our Technical Support team at Garaventa Lift.
About the Role:- As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service and technical support to international clients.
- You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to our lifts, including mechanical systems, electrical controls, and hydraulics.
- We offer comprehensive training to enhance your knowledge and skills, ensuring you have the expertise to deliver high-quality support.
- The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with customers via email, phone, and in-person meetings (with ability to travel).
- Your duties will include Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 troubleshooting, gathering technical information, processing parts orders, and adjudicating warranty claims.
- Communicate effectively with customers to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Use schematics, wiring diagrams, and sequence of operations to determine faults and develop resolutions.
- Liaise with engineers, product managers, and other subject matter experts to execute resolutions.
- Gather technical information from manuals/drawings and transmit to customers.
- Process parts orders, identify correct parts for field repair or replacement, and parts lookup.
- Adjudicate warranty claims and identify quality issues/defect patterns.
- Assist in creating and distributing technical/product bulletins.
- Elevator Mechanic, Electrician, or Mechanic preferred; equivalent field experience accepted.
- Fluent in English (additional languages beneficial). Excellent written communication and clear, concise verbal communication.
- Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Goal-oriented and team-focused.
