Automation & Programming Specialist

CDN Controls ULC is a leading provider of Control System Integration and Automation services. We offer a comprehensive range of solutions for Industrial Automation, Communication, and Power Systems.

As an Automation & Programming Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting, upgrading, and installing SCADA, PLC, and HMI Hardware for projects related to general maintenance or new construction facilities.
  • Designing and implementing PLC Logic and related automation networks.
  • Providing ongoing maintenance support for clients and hands-on development for construction-based projects.
  • Preparing devices and I/O lists as well as construction support and commissioning assistance.

Requirements:

  • Journeyman Instrument Mechanic/Electrician with extensive Automation experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience with Delta V and/or Allen Bradley Controls Systems.
  • Post Secondary Diploma in Instrument Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Automated System Engineering Technology.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mentor junior colleagues.
  • Familiarity with IT SCADA architectural standards.
  • Proficient in Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows Server 8.
