Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation and Control Systems Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and control systems, with a proven track record of troubleshooting, upgrading, and installing SCADA, PLC, and HMI hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, including SCADA, PLC, and HMI hardware.
  • Upgrade and migrate control systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Install new control systems, including logic design and network configuration.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance support for clients and develop new construction-based projects.
  • Prepare devices and I/O lists, as well as provide commissioning assistance.
Requirements
  • Journeyman Instrument Mechanic/Electrician with extensive automation experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience with Delta V and/or Allen Bradley Controls Systems.
  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Instrument Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Automated System Engineering Technology, or a Degree in Electrical Engineering (EIT or P.Eng).
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with staff and clients.
  • Ability to mentor junior colleagues.
  • Familiarity with IT SCADA architectural standards.
  • Highly proficient in Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows Server 8.
  • Demonstrated organizational and documentation skills.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
