Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Community Mental Health Clinician 2 - Adult to join the Pender Community Health Centre in Vancouver, BC.

About the Role

As a Community Mental Health Clinician 2 - Adult, you will provide client care to individuals with severe and persistent psychiatric illness. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members and health care professionals to achieve excellence in health services and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide case coordination and counseling services to clients with complex needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Participate in crisis intervention and community resource development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in a Health Science discipline from a recognized program
  • Three (3) years recent related experience working with individuals with severe and persistent psychiatric illness
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local area travel
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment and to adapt to changing workload priorities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to promote Indigenous Cultural Safety.
