Job Summary

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Operations Specialist to join our team As a Finance Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing Broker to Broker account transfers workflows, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all transfers, as requested by clients.

Responsibilities
  • Process ATON or Manual account transfers in and out requests, according to service level agreements, regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Review and distribute incoming transfers documents and other material to coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations.
  • Prepare, edit and proofread correspondences and transferring related documents.
  • Attend to phone, fax and email inquiries related to account transfers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Track transfer status and follow up on initiated transfers.
  • Work collaboratively in a team and keep team leaders informed.
  • Compile and organize reports to support operational transfer activities.
  • Maintain automated filing system to add transfer data to internal databases.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining transfers department procedures.
  • Evaluate and ensure departmental policies and procedures are complied with.
Requirements
  • You are a College or University graduate or equivalent, preferably in administration and/or finance.
  • You have 1+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in the financial services industry.
  • You have knowledge using G-Suite, especially Google Sheets.
  • You have excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • You have a positive attitude and strong client orientation.
  • You have strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • You are able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have a high level of attention to detail, curiosity to learn and understand the why and how.

Compensation and Location

This is a salary position located at 5700 Yonge St, North York, ON M2M 4K2, Canada. The estimated salary for this position is around $60,000 per year, based on the job requirements and location.
